CCTV drain inspection & clearing — Mornington Peninsula

See exactly what's happening inside your drains

Our drain camera goes where you can't — finding blockages, root intrusion, cracked pipes and collapsed sections without guesswork or unnecessary digging.

Why camera first?

Guessing what's in a drain is expensive — seeing it isn't

Slow drains and blockages can have many causes — built-up grease and debris, tree roots growing through pipe joints, cracked or collapsed sections, or a misaligned connection. Without a camera, a plumber is guessing. With one, the issue is visible, the location is confirmed, and the right fix can be applied first time.

We inspect residential and commercial drains across the Mornington Peninsula using a professional push-rod CCTV camera, providing a clear report of findings and — where a blockage is present — clearing it with high-pressure water jetting on the same visit where possible.

📷

CCTV drain inspection

A waterproof camera is fed through your drain to record the full internal condition of the pipe — joints, bends, blockages, cracks and all. You get a written report of what was found.

💦

High-pressure jetting

Where a blockage is present, we use high-pressure water jetting to clear it — cutting through root intrusion, grease, scale and debris that rods alone can't shift.

📄

Written report

Every inspection includes a written report of findings — useful for homeowners, property managers, real estate agents and builders. We note the location and nature of any defects found.

📍

Pipe locating

The camera also allows us to trace the path of buried drain lines and mark their location on the surface — helpful before any excavation or landscaping work.

What we look for

Common drain problems found by camera

How it works

The inspection process

1

Access the drain

We locate the nearest accessible cleanout or inspection point — usually a drain grate, inspection opening or toilet.

2

Camera inspection

The camera is fed through the drain, recording footage as it goes. We watch live on a monitor and note anything of concern.

3

Blockage clearing (if required)

If a blockage is found and clearing is needed, we jet the line with high-pressure water to clear it, then re-camera to confirm the result.

4

Report

We provide a written summary of what was found, the location of any defects, and recommendations for any follow-up work needed.

Root intrusion is common on the Peninsula

Many established Peninsula properties have mature trees with root systems that have grown into drain pipe joints over the years — particularly in older suburbs like Frankston, Mornington and Hastings. Camera inspection is the only reliable way to confirm this.
